Preparing for Tomorrowland: The Checklist
Documents, bag, camping gear, supplies: everything to prepare before heading to Boom.
A great Tomorrowland is largely won before departure. Between the documents you can't forget, the camping gear for Dreamville and the Belgian weather doing whatever it wants, a real checklist beats a bag packed at 2am. Here's everything to prepare, tested and approved by the veterans.
π« The Essentials: Documents & Vouchers
- βActivated Tomorrowland bracelet and ticket personalised in your name
- βID documents (+ driving licence if you're coming by car)
- βBank card + bracelet pre-loaded with Pearls
- βParking voucher booked in advance β they sell out
- βPlate registered for the low-emission zone if your route crosses Brussels
- βOffline backups of all your QR codes and confirmations (screenshots + cloud)
βΊ Camping Gear (Dreamville)
- βRain-proof tent β Belgian weather shows no mercy
- βAir mattress + pump, sleeping bag and pillow
- βFolding cart or rolling suitcase for the parking β camp trip
- βGazebo or canopy (lowerable in wind), folding table and chairs
- βHeadlamp or torch β saves your phone battery
- βTent lock and cooler with ice packs
- βToilet paper, wipes, bin bags, a sponge
- βFirst-aid kit: plasters, disinfectant, painkillers, your medication
π§₯ Clothing & Comfort
- βWaterproof hooded jacket + light rain trousers β free ponchos are no longer handed out
- βTwo pairs of comfortable shoes (one spare β your feet are the festival's engine)
- βEarplugs for the night + hearing protection for the stages
- βSunscreen, cap and sunglasses
- βWater bottle or camelbak β free water points are spread across the site
- βBum bag or small bag for the day: bracelet, ID, power bank, sunscreen
- βPlastic bags to keep dry clothes dry inside your bag
π₯« Supplies
- βWater and drinks in cans or plastic bottles β glass is banned
- βDried fruit, cereal bars, drinkable compotes
- βEasy tins (salads, ravioli) and sliced bread or brioche
- βSalty snacks and portioned charcuterie
- βSandwiches or fruit for arrival day
- βThe Dreamville supermarket helps out, but go early: it empties fast
π‘ Depending on your Dreamville package (Easy Tent, Camp2Camp, Montagoeβ¦), part of the gear is provided β check before buying.
When to Do What
- 1
When buying tickets
Book parking, locker and vouchers at the same time as the tickets β you avoid queues and last-minute fees.
- 2
One week before
Activate your bracelet and pre-load Pearls.
- 3
2-1 days before
Check the weather and pack accordingly, charge the power banks, prep the cooler.
- 4
Arrival day
Aim for 9am on Thursday at Dreamville: you set up camp in daylight, stress-free β then roll into The Gathering.
The Veterans' Reflexes
- βΊA single locker can hold a whole group's valuables β book it in advance.
- βΊTravel light: you're only staying four nights, and anything that saves 15 minutes at setup buys an hour of recovery.
- βΊAgree on a simple meeting point with your group on arrival β the network saturates in the crowd.
- βΊPick 2 must-see artists per day and leave the rest to discovery: running between stages drains you more than dancing.
