Practical Info — Tomorrowland Winter
Where it is, how to get there and what to know before heading up to the resort.
A festival at 1,800 metres of altitude requires slightly different prep: here, mountain logistics matter as much as the music. Here's the essential to reach Alpe d'Huez and enjoy the week without bad surprises.
March 20-27, 2027
Alpe d'Huez, France (1,860 m)
The Venue: Alpe d'Huez
The festival takes over the whole Alpe d'Huez resort in Isère: stages are spread between the village and the ski area, some only reachable on skis or by gondola. The Mainstage faces the peaks — one of the most spectacular settings in the Tomorrowland galaxy.
How to Get There
✈️ By plane or train
The most convenient airports are Lyon Saint-Exupéry, Geneva and Grenoble. By train, aim for Grenoble station, then about 1.5 hours by road up to the resort.
🚌 Up to the resort
Shuttles connect Grenoble and the airports to Alpe d'Huez during the festival, and Global Journey packages often include transport. By car, snow equipment is mandatory in winter.
Good to Know
- ›Most formulas include resort accommodation and often the ski pass — check what your package covers before booking extras.
- ›Some stages are on the slopes: without skiing you still enjoy the village and the stages reachable on foot or by gondola.
- ›Altitude sun + snow = sunscreen is non-negotiable, even in March. And warm layers for the evenings.
